Accolade Wines is delighted to announce that we have been recognised as an HRD Australia 5-Star Employer of Choice 2024.

The award is bestowed by HRD Magazine, which is one of the most highly respected international publications in the HR industry.

As an industry-recognised Supplier of Choice, becoming an Employer of Choice, this is a huge boost for our corporate and employer brand.

The award is based on an extensive submission on our culture and benefits and anonymous employee surveys. Winning 5-Star Employer of Choice marks us as one of the 14 Best Companies with 500+ Employees to Work For in Australia, listing us alongside Baker McKenzie, Marriot Australia and Gold Coast Health.

Accolade’s achievement will be showcased across HRD’s channels from today highlighting many of the initiatives it has introduced in recent years to create an organisation where employees will realise their potential, helping the company to realise theirs.

Chris Sweeney, Managing Editor for Special Reports at HRD Australia, shared his insights on the award selection process.

“It was inspiring to see so many organisations leading from the front and providing excellent working environments for their people,” he said.

“Accolade Wines rightly deserve their recognition for their unwavering commitment to their employees and also for fostering a supportive culture, that allows them to thrive.”

Anjanette Murfet, Chief People and Communications Officer at Accolade Wines said everyone in the business should be incredibly proud of the industry recognition.

“We have been hard at work building an inclusive, diverse and collaborative culture in recent years, one where everyone can develop and grow to realise their potential,” she said.

“It’s fantastic to see that effort recognised, and it’s been great to celebrate this achievement with our team.”

About 2024 5-Star Employers of Choice:

The selection process for HRD Australia’s 2024 5-Star Employer of Choice comprised two steps: an employer submission followed by an employee survey. First, organisations complete an in-depth submission to explain their various initiatives and practices. Next, employees from nominated organisations fill out an anonymous form evaluating their workplace on a number of metrics, including benefits, compensation, culture, employee development, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. HRD then selects the winners following a rigorous process, which includes interviews with industry professionals.
