Art and wine come together with limited-edition design by NYC artist.

Grant Burge Wines has partnered with New York City-based artist Craig Costello, founder of KRINK, an esteemed artist materials brand and creative studio, to craft a limited edition pack for Barossa Ink Shiraz.

The KRINK x Barossa Ink Limited Edition Shiraz embodies a fusion of art and flavour, showcasing a contemporary and bold style both inside and out. Cultivated in the heart of Barossa, Australia’s premium Shiraz region, the wine boasts a bold and generous character with rich berry notes complemented by hints of mocha, all wrapped in a deep, almost ink-like hue. Priced at $14.99, KRINK x Barossa Ink will be exclusively available at Dan Murphy’s starting July, while stocks last.

This collaboration is rooted in Craig Costello’s, also known as ‘KRINK,’ profound connection to ‘ink,’ having pioneered his own line of paints and inks in the 90s. Costello, a highly respected artist based in New York, has left his mark across the globe with his large format installations and has collaborated with renowned brands such as Tiffany & Co and Levi’s. KRINK x Barossa Ink marks Costello’s first partnership with a wine brand.

Amy Darvill, Marketing Director ANZ at Accolade Wines, expressed, “Barossa Ink Shiraz has garnered a dedicated following. We anticipate that this limited-edition pack will not only resonate with our loyal consumers but also attract a younger, creative audience to the brand. The Grant Burge Wines brand ethos of ‘Leave Your Mark’ aligns seamlessly with KRINK and his artistic style. We are thrilled to collaborate and introduce this disruptive limited edition design.”

Craig Costello ‘KRINK’ said: “Collaborating with Barossa Ink was a natural fit – we are both creatively developing formulas to make something special. It was great to incorporate my drip aesthetic with the Barossa Ink existing branding to design something visually unique.” KRINK x Barossa Ink Limited Edition Shiraz will be available in Australia from July.
