Grant Burge Wines is extending its popular Ink portfolio with the introduction of B.Ink, offering a new range of full-bodied, contemporary wines.

Available in all channels from March, B.Ink will tap into the impressive growth of red blend varietals with its first product launch, the South Australian Red Blend.

Barossa Ink is already a top performer within the Accolade Wines portfolio since its launch in 2017. Capitalising on the healthy growth of Australian wines (+17% in value in the last two years) in the UK off-trade[1]; the B.Ink Red Blend channels rich full-bodied flavours from the region, with flavours of dark chocolate, coated raspberries and gentle supporting oak.

A full 360 campaign will support the launch throughout 2022, using the tagline ‘Leave Your Mark’. Out of home, in-store, and social activations, which will aim to generate brand awareness and drive purchase across all channels.

The brand is also introducing a Rosé and Chardonnay varietal to the collection later this summer.

Tom Smith, Marketing Director – Europe, at Accolade Wines, said: “We’re building on the growth of the globally-renowned Grant Burge Wines and success of Barossa Ink by making the brand even more accessible for UK consumers.

The striking, disruptive design and vibrant taste of B.Ink will appeal to new audiences, as we look to drive further excitement in the wine category. The Red Blend personifies big Australian flavours, with a full bodied, bold palate that is easy to drink, at a price point that will drive trade up and increase category value.

The contemporary aesthetics and opulent style of B.Ink will really resonate with consumers and make it stand out from other wines on store shelves. We’ll also be promoting the distinctive B.Ink branding across a variety of media channels, with exciting activations planned for this year.”

B.Ink Red Blend has an RRP of £9 and is available across grocery, convenience, wholesale and on-trade from March. Accolade Wines is showcasing B.ink alongside other products at this year’s Prowein trade fair.
