commemorate this milestone by unveiling their latest masterpiece, ‘The Eight.’ This exceptional wine, a 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz blend, embodies our unwavering commitment to capturing the essence of Australia’s diverse terroir. Through a meticulous selection process, ‘The Eight’ seamlessly blends exceptional parcels from three esteemed vineyards – Frankland River, McLaren Vale, and Coonawarra – resulting in a wine of unparalleled complexity, power, and grace.

Drawing upon the expertise of our talented winemakers and harnessing the distinct characteristics of each region, Hardys has expertly crafted this limitededition wine from eight select barrels. With its harmonious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, ‘The Eight’ presents an exquisite balance of flavours. McCarthy further explains, “It is a wine of outstanding dark fruit intensity, concentration, structure, and length that will continue to develop complexity for decades.” The Cabernet Sauvignon contributes elegant structure and refined tannins, while the Shiraz adds depth, richness, and a hint of spice.
