Mud House Wines has joined Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival, as the official wine partner for the 2016 event to be held in Sydney’s Centennial Parklands on the very romantic date of Sunday, 14 February.
Mud House is bringing a touch of New Zealand’s Marlborough region to Centennial Park with its pop-up Mud House Woolshed Vineyard experience, which will be home to some fun activities and offer event goers a relaxing space to enjoy a glass of award-winning Mud House wine.
Mud House Winemakers Cleighten Cornelius and Nadine Worley are excited for a taste of Marlborough to be showcased at Australia’s most prestigious short film festival and Sydney’s favourite summer event.
“My partner in wine, Nadine, and I are so pumped that Sydney-siders will be enjoying our wines at Tropfest this year. It’s a unique event and we are both so pleased it’s remained for 2016,” said Cleighten.
“A short film and a glass of Mud House Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc are two of my favourite things, and what a perfect event to enjoy both. We can assure punters there will be a lot of fun and really great wine on the cards for them and we urge them to put Tropfest in their diary,” added Cleighten.
John Polson, Tropfest Founder, said the addition of Mud House Wines to the Tropfest bill is a fantastic fit for the event.
“A taste for adventure and love of the outdoors is at the heart of the Mud House culture, and that ethos really resonates with us at Tropfest. Our festival showcases the great film making talent in Australia in a relaxed, outdoor environment,” said John.
